This was recorded on September 28, 2003, when artists across the United States and Mexico participated in “A Day Without Water,” a vigil and presentation of creative works inspired by immigrants. A number of artists and supporters also spent 24 hours without water to honor the memory of the hundreds of immigrants who die each year trying to make their way across the U.S.-Mexico border in search of a better life.

that was a nice moment to share here in London on a wet Sunday evening.
a time capsule from 2003.
I’ve got so much great footage from the past few years that I never get round to sharing (even though i often think about it) because there’s a part of me that feels i should be prioritising current stuff. you’ve inspired me to start looking through it.
