Kara-Hanah? I hope you know that commenting on week-old posts is a typical spammer tactic. A lot of people would just delete.

Also, I have to wonder whether you watched my post if you think I can "do some of this" (cook) while managing a broadcast and user discussion on Blog.tv.

I have to respect that you're reaching out to women with more to show than boobs. Yes, I am a woman with more to show than boobs.

In fact I have experimented with Blog.tv. If I ever find a good use for it, I'd try it. But I'm really not the live show type. I'm more the edit out the boring useless bits type.

I was not encouraged to stop by there today at your prompting and find a young man trying to discuss video games while his chat room audience kept trying to talk about sex. It took 30 seconds of viewing before the name calling started. It was like the hate comments on YouTube, only delivered live. Definitely not interested in experiencing that for myself.

And I find your Terms of Use - the part where it gives you license to do anything you want with my work, in perpetuity - well, let's just say there's a reason I host my own work. The main objectionable bit is this:

For the avoidance of doubt, you retain all of your ownership rights in your UGC. However, By broadcasting and/or posting your UGC through or on the Website, you grant BlogTV a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide, sublicenseable and transferable license to: use, reproduce, store, adapt, translate, modify, make derivative works (including without limitation, reformat, rename, edit, shorten, split UGC into segments and use as part of compilations), transmit, distribute, publicly perform or display the UGC and your username, via all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, all in connection with the Website and BlogTV's (and its successor's) business, including without limitation, promoting and redistributing part or all of the Website (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels (including though third parties and/or cellular) You also hereby grant each user of the Website or other viewer of your UGC a non-exclusive royalty-free right to access your UGC through the Website, and to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform such UGC, all for non-commercial and personal use.

excellent part 2! That looked GREAT.

When you finally said "Do you want to see..." I was chanting "yes yes yes!" to the screen.

Bread as a cliff hanger ... brilliant.

Looks Good! I need to post a video this month on how to make my fried okra if I ever get the time to make it. I think I've referenced it in a few videos, but I haven't done a how to.

Good luck on the rest of the month! Its been pretty fun so far!

My bread looked great but was really heavy. I didn't leave it for the two hours at the end though... that'll be why. I shall make another effort.

@Ryanne - oh yeah, you must vlog making the bread! The bread has its own Flickr group. It would be fun to see if it passes now from vlogger to vlogger. Ha ha! I also like that you can choose when you will bake - I try to pick a time my house needs a little extra heat. I like the idea of heating the home with good cookin' rather than a furnace.

@Ryanne, seriously, you could get rid of your bread machine entirely. Make two loaves at a time if you can ... one is not going to last you long.

Cheryl it looked PERFECT!! Yay, bread! And that soup! Lovely! A double starch dinner is my kind of dinner, indeed! How about passing along that recipe, huh?

I think the beery smell may have been because of the yeast you used--the rapid rise stuff. The recipe calls for instant yeast, which is another animal supposedly, and harder to find. I'm SO excited that your bread turned out so well with regular yeast! Now I really CAN make it all the time!

Go Cheryl, go Cheryl, it's your bread-day! It's your bread-day!

wow...i have to admit up until the point the bread was revealed i was kinda non-plussed, but when that loaf was pulled out the oven and it was sitting there crackling in all its bready crackly goodness....my mouth started watering. The payoff was well worth it. Excellent show. Excellent dough.

cheers
