I squeezed in reading Aaron’s final thoughts on NaVloPoMo during my half hour break between classes. One of my students kept chatting with me and wanted to know what I’m teaching next semester. When one of the classes I mentioned was “videoblogging,” he wanted to know why anyone would do that. I had Aaron’s post open, so I just made him read it. That was truly satisfying synchronicity.
Anyway, I was going to post something silly, but instead I decided to say thank you to you all. I can always post the silly thing tomorrow. This month has meant the world to me. I can hardly believe I made a video every day for thirty days. Makes me wonder what else I can do. Let me tell you, that’s worth everything.
NaVloPoMo has been a pleasure. I’ll miss it, especially the increased watching and commenting, the back and forth that was going on between old friends and new. Maybe we can keep it up? I might try! Perhaps bi-weekly if not daily. I’ll see you on your vlogs, people!

Yes, it was a great month. Tiring… but great! It did remind me of the early days of videoblogging and was awesome not worrying about production values or caring how many people actually saw my videos. I had such a relief when I posted my final video for NaVloPoMo. I felt like I accomplished something
We all did.
Well, Cheryl. What can I say?
The chemical balance of my brain has certainly changed this month. Immersion in such daily acts of creativity is mind altering (and exhausting) to say the least. And all in the best possible sense.
I had a bit of an emotional rush reaching the finale. To have connected with all these people on such a level, and then for it to have ended. Quite affecting. And truly inspirational and life affirming.
I ‘m glad I’ve met you. Glad I’ve met Rupert, and the Davids and Ryanne and Jay and Brook and Will and MissBhaven and Heath and GoGen and Beth and Aaron and Jan and all the many rest who’ve come forth in this small planetary interaction. I feel like a 16 year-old again. The world suddenly feels fresh, despite the odds.
So a big thanks to you and all.
And, my god. You’ve posted a new video for December 1st! You weren’t kidding then when you said let’s keep it up. I’m impressed. Very. Onwards…
I definitely have to make sure I have all y’all’s blog feeds on my Google Reader under a navlopomo group so I can “stay in touch.” And maybe we can all join the videobloggers Ning group. I, too, am surprised by how much this group meant to me; I thought it was just going to be a silly thing.
I don’t want it to end……I really don’t….heck I’m afraid to let it end…..
It was an amazing month. I wish I could have posted more. But the new year brings new hope
