The banks get billions of taxpayer bailout money, use it to give themselves huge bonuses, buy more assets, and consolidate their power over us and our government.
Meanwhile, what’s in YOUR nest egg?
Are you mad yet? What are you doing about it?
Join us (150 strong so far) for a Nest Egg Hunt demonstration on the sidewalks in front of the AIG building, Central Ave & Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ on April 11 at 11am local time / 2pm PDT. Demonstrate your desire for a new way forward to a more just economy. Showing up will empower our leaders in government to stand up to the banks.
Bring signs or sign-making material. Tell your friends, blog it, bring your cameras and document it. Stay on city owned sidewalks and don’t block foot traffic. For free parking use light rail park and ride and get off at the Central & Thomas station – you’re there!

What effect did you use on that video? Something I can do in iMovie HD? I have FCP but too much work for the videos I shoot.
And I want COCONUT in my Easter egg!
I edited the video with iMovie HD, John. I didn’t do an effect at all. It was originally one clip, and all I did was edit about 15 seconds out of it by splitting the clip. I took out any pauses where I got bored, and to make it fit the music a little better. I needed 10 seconds at the end for the closing credits too. Hope that helps.
I’m still looking for the effect that puts coconut in the eggs! I’ll save one for you.
You are such a dissident.
THAT’S what I love about ya
You go girl!
Always the inspiration. This is wonderful. You’re wonderful. As is videoblogging week. I’m failing miserably already, I’m afraid. Maybe once this week, if I’m lucky. One post. This is a crazy week for me, but perhaps I’ll manage at least something (famous last words).
What makes me happy is seeing all you fabulous people post en masse. Such bliss.
*I’ve just watched you at Apperceptions. Have to say, I’m very impressed that you watch videoblogs on such a huge screen! And all set up with rss!
Make something this week Robert, one thing for me to watch on our scary big screen!
